What it means for your child

With rated events most months, the question for a Delhi NCR child isn't whether they can play rated chess but when they're ready to. Rated games are played on a board with a clock, against opponents who know their openings.

We prepare children for that step: the clock, writing the moves down, and the openings they'll meet over the board. Our free report on your child's online games shows where to start.

    Who teaches

Bhaskar Gupta, LWSed's founder and head coach, holds a FIDE rating and teaches every chess batch himself, from Ludhiana. Every chess student also gets a free online tournament or chess event every Saturday or Sunday, and our monthly Lichess tournament results are public in the Hall of Fame.
