Build a game with AI: a free workshop for kids
In 60 minutes, your child describes a game in plain English, builds it with AI and plays it, live with Bhaskar Gupta, who teaches LWSed's AI classes. Up to 15 children per session.
Every Sunday, 4:00–5:00 PM IST
When the 4:00 PM group is full, a second group runs 5:00–6:00 PM IST. Outside India? Register anyway, and we'll tell you if a session at a time that suits you opens.
What happens in the hour
- Step 1
Pick a game
Each child chooses a simple game idea: a quiz, a maze, a clicker, a guessing game.
- Step 2
Tell the AI what to build
Children describe the game in plain English. Bhaskar runs the AI tool on screen, and the group fixes what it gets wrong.
- Step 3
Play it and take it home
By the end each game runs in the browser, and you get the link to play it again at home.
What they take away
- How to give an AI clear, step-by-step instructions
- How to check an AI's work instead of trusting it
- Why you never type personal details into an AI tool
Save your child's seat
Questions parents ask
Is it really free?
Yes. No card, no catch. At the end we tell you about our AI classes, and you decide.
Does my child need an AI account?
No. Bhaskar runs the AI tool on his screen and the children direct it, so no child needs an account and no personal details go into any AI tool.
What does my child need?
A laptop or desktop with Zoom, and a quiet half hour before to get comfortable. Cameras on is nice but optional.
Is it suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. It's built for children aged 9–14 who have never coded. If they can type a sentence, they can take part.
How big is the group?
Up to 15 children, so everyone's game gets built.
