The founder
Bhaskar Gupta founded LWSed in 2024 and is its head coach: he teaches the chess and AI classes himself. He holds a B.E. in Computer Science and is a FIDE-rated chess player. He plays on Lichess as Bhaskar_2001, the account that hosts LWSed's tournaments. He can speak about teaching children to think rather than memorise, children and AI, and what the data says about how children's chess develops.
