What it means for your child
The tricity has more rated chess nearby than most of the region, with Chandigarh's and Punjab's championships within reach. A child who plays them needs to be ready for over-the-board play: the clock, writing the moves down, and the openings people actually play in rated events.
Our classes prepare for exactly that, and the weekend tournaments keep your child playing between events.
Before a first rated event, read how to get a FIDE rating in India and what changes at your child's first rated tournament.
