About the game
A rubber-hose run-and-gun fight against a cartoon devil. Land on the pink shots to parry them; X fires your EX move.
How to play
- On a laptop: Keyboard: WASD, Space, Shift, J. Click the game once first so it hears your keys.
- On a phone: tap Play on this phone and hold the phone sideways. On-screen buttons appear: arrows to move, and Jump, Shoot, Dash, EX, Hero. Jump or Shoot starts the fight.
- Cost: free, with no download or sign-up.
The product decision behind it
The same controls as Inkwell Contract Rush, so all the work went into one new boss.
Every game in the studio starts the same way: decide who it's for, what the player does and what makes it fun. Then describe it to an AI, play it, and fix what the AI got wrong.
