Who can join?+
Every player is welcome — from absolute beginners to FIDE-rated competitors. Players are paired Swiss-style, so you'll face opponents near your level.
When is it?+
The Championship runs on the last Sunday of every month at 8:30 PM IST · 11:00 AM ET · 8:00 AM PT. The next one is Sunday, 28 June 2026.
What's the entry fee and prize?+
Entry is $20 for USA. The winners share a $100 prize pool, plus trophies, certificates, and a spot in the LWS Hall of Fame.
Where are games played?+
All games are played on Lichess in the official LWS team — a clean, ad-free environment. You'll get the tournament link and password after registering.
How do I pay?+
After you register, we send payment details to your WhatsApp within 24 hours. Pay $20 via PayPal to confirm your spot.
